LOOSING IT.. THEN FOUND IT..

Hello everyone...

Gosh, I did these inkings a few weeks ago now and just got round to sharing them..
I was playing in around with water papers and paints, just to see what would happen, and that's where I lost it..

Oh, boy, this is awful..

I'm being honest here, I really thought this would be good..
That is where the inks came in, because what did I have to loose...

Oranges, reds and a green..

Added browns...

And die cut..leaves, birds, and trees..

Then made a bunch of cards...

Something a bit different made on kraft card stock, and added grey wood grain papers in different width strips..splatters, gems or liquid pearls..then stamped sentiments..off to the shop they have gone..

So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by again, be back in few with more pink, but Christmas cards this time..see you.

Luv CHRISSYxx

You're so clever in how you turn your backgrounds into such amazing art my dear!! I love that you're having fun with them and then create these fabulous designs with them as well!! Beautifully done my friend! HUGS

Your backgrounds are always gorgeous. These just scream end of autumn, start of winter. Exactly how our leaves are looking at the minute. We spent nearly two hours out in the back garden picking up leaves! Exhausting!! And there isn't actually a tree in our garden lol. Love the finished cards. Especially like the die cut fence and trees!

There you go - that's the joy of mixed media... when you think it's all gone horribly wrong, you add another layer and suddenly it all goes right again! I love the rustic kraft cards, and all the variations on an autumnal theme with your die-cuts. I think the tree line is particularly effective, but they're all great.
