A BIT OF BIRTHDAY FUN IN LOCKDOWN..

Hello Everyone..

Well, my Birthday was yesterday 15th, and being in lockdown and not being able to see my family, was starting to become a bit stressful and I started to feel a tad lonely..BUT..my crazy family come up with all sorts of plans and this was a doozy for me..

They bought me my dinner, passed it over the fence  all my favourites from prawn cocktail to our family best, Chicken casserole, rice, peas chips, oh yum..it was all in individual containers, I just had to dish up and heat..

And a glass of alcohol free sparkling Rose'..

And my Grandsons bought me my favourite lollies..LOTS of them..

[I need a bigger bowl]

I was so spoilt and then to top it all off..I GOT CAKE!!

Carrot cake, moist and pretty with walnuts and cream cheese icing..

You know I did not sleep well last night but it was so worth it, I ate too much and had enough sugar coursing through my viens, I think I'm still hyped up.

And when I blew out candles we were video chatting, and they all sang Happy Birthday [very badly[ and stuff like that and it was so much fun.

My eldest Son came at 7am in the morning and gave me money over the fence in an envelope and that was certainly not to be sneezed at..come on and end lockdown Chrissy needs to go shopping..

So there we go..thanks so much for stopping by..

luv CHRISSYxx  [who may be a year older but certainly not wiser..]

I'll be back with a project tomorrow..💖

OH Chrissy, Happy Birthday!! I had a birthday 2 weeks ago and in Coronavirus lockdown, too - but your family really came through for you! I love the cake and the lollies - how sweet of your grands! I know here they drive by the house in a car and honk honk honk the car horn in a parade to say happy birthday, lol. No one honked here :) Enjoy your birthday, all week!

It was Shaleise's 26th birthday too, she got to spend the day alone in her room, (shes got a police laptop and is working from home) then I do not bake or cook Lee does all that so she didn't even get a cake, or her scampi and chips as ours is closed, so a bit of a let down, but one she will remember that's for sure, Lee popped to shop today (had the roof repaired so couldn't get out of the garden with scaffolding up) for the first time in a fortnight and he came home with her a caterpillar cake :0)))))) which made her very happy so a longer birthday for her....

Happy Birthday (late) hugs Pops x

What a wonderful gesture by your family - all your favourites all served up over the fence - that made me smile! Belated birthday greetings... to another April birthday! My nephew was yesterday and my brother and I are coming up towards the end of next week (no, not twins - different years, different days). April birthdays are the best!

What a nice surprise for your birthday! The dinner looks yummy, I like food like this. But prawn cocktail I had forgotten existed, I don’t think I’ve had one or seen one for at least 10 years..?
