MAKING RUST..

Hello Everyone...

Today I'm going to share a few projects and lots of pictures on making rust using water paints..also cleaning up the sop sops of paint and sprays with water colour papers to make neat backgrounds..

Die cut heaps of cogs and applied Ochre paint..

Then added Sienna paint, just random with a stiff brush..

Then a darker brown..

Finally a bit of black..then leave to dry..

Then I lay down 2 bits a water card in the mess after adding a touch of water..

And 2 backgrounds were made..

All my cogs a dry and ready...

After a whole day of of doing other things like this I eneded up with all these backgrounds...

The woodgrain effect came as surprise as this was off the bottom of my spray box and a paper towel,so cool..I made a few more of those and had better fun doing that, more than what I was originally doing..

Then made a few cards using those backgrounds which were perfect for a masculine cards..

This one is all ready for a friend of mine[ it is personnalised]

The papers look great don't they, and so yummy and thick..I just added a few embellishments here and there and it was done..

This one, same thing, cut the paper into a smaller sqaure and ripped it in places then added details..

I always have ships wheels and birds cut out and hiding in trays etc around  my craftroom, so making these was pretty quick..

Ooo..sorry, this one is a bit dark..
So there we go, have a few more even a female one so will share them in a day or two..

Thanks so much for stopping by and all your lovely comments, I do so enjoy hearing from you and reading them all..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Your ROCK my lovely friend....just love the cogs and the rust effect. Now while you were playing and having fun, I was spending hours of trying to finish my precious downloads onto the new computer, what a time consuming effort. Now doing my silhouette cameo ones going back to 2014. Come on over and help me..xxx

All of your cards are just wonderful.
