613 AVENUE CREATE DT..

Hello everyone,

Time for another new challenge with 613 Avenue Create  and our theme this time is "Washi Tape ".use some washi tape on your project foiled or matt, if you have some, or be  like me and spend your savings over at Altenew and buy a roll of the stuff with a stamp set and matching dies..talk about enthusiastic..but something I really really needed..and the theme is optional of course.

And made yet again three cards...

So here is what arrived from Altenew in only 6 days from America to New Zealand..
the dies match the stamps and also match most of the flowers on the washi tape..which is 6inches wide and so gorgeous..the other die set in the middle is amazing too, such a great size and you get three flower dies..and then of course I added inks and yellow stick on, sheez I cant remember what you call them, but you can see what they are..

So I started by laying out the washi onto card stock, yes, I got wrinkles as I was in too much of a hurry but you can spread them out using a bone folder and beside the washi just lifts up and you can move it around..

Lined up the die and BOOM, beautiful detail and already for a clean and simple card..

Lined up not too bad..

These are the sets of flower from the washi that there are dies for..

So card number one..I embossed the back panel with a brick wall STENCIL as I do not have an embossing folder and it work pretty well..added the die cut washi flowers and some gorgeous clear gems from Nuvo..

Number two, another stencil embossed, circle frame and gems..and the biggest floral die cut..

Number three, brick wall and three of the smallest die cuts..

And the three cards together..

I had so much fun playing with these and will definitely make more for my stash..

Thank you so much for stopping by, I'm off to play with more stencils and do more embossing..then have some lunch and off out this arvo with my daughter to K Mart..fun.

Luv CHRISSYxx

Good Lord girl, what will you come up with next. I had no idea they had dies for Washi tape but then I don't know anything about Washi tape. You just blow me away with your beautiful creations and the tools you use when designing. Can't wait to see your next creation.
Hugs, Carol
