MATCHING ENVELOPES..

Hello everyone,

My word we have had a weather change and went from 28oC down to 9oC..blimey, I needed my Winter woolies out again..it won't last long, but the shock was pretty rough.

I'm sharing a couple of cards I made the other day using Nuvo Shimmer Powders.

To stop the powder from shifting and getting on your fingers I used a Tim holt glaze and it works awesome..made matching envelopes too, just for fun and now there is a challenge at Simon Says Wednesday challenge to make matching envelopes, so that worked out well..

I started off making my backgrounds, lots of water to get things moving and then they had to dry, be glazed, and then cut up, sounds like a leg of Ham doesn't it..

They were so easy to build into slimline cards and so pretty..

One with yellow background, white embossed floral stamp from Paper Rose...

And one with a pink background, same embossed flower..looks like the corner is lifting but it was the fun foam not quite high enough..fixed now.

And here they are together with their stamped matching envelopes and all the beautiful sparkly Nuvo Crystal gems..

So there go, thank you so much for stopping by..

See you soon..

Luv CHRISSYxx

I cannot begin to guess how you did those amazing backgrounds but they are gorgeous (and remind me of rhubarb and custard!!) and perfect for the white heat embossed flowers. Such pretty envelopes too. Hope you have had a warmer day xx

You just can't fathom the weather at all now Chrissy. Changes in the drop of a hat! I love your gorgeous cards, again the colours are so beautiful and nothing like a matching envelope to finish them off.
