OXIDE INK BUTTERFLY..

Hello everyone,

Been a good day today, been outside washing the windows with carpet shampoo and they look so sparkly and clean, the best window cleaner ever..Dixons carpet shampoo, hose windows, broom on the shampoo and wash em', then hose off and walk away, dries streak free and very clean..and on this hot Napier sunny day, I was lovely and cool, very wet, but cool..

Okay, today I'm sharing an oxide ink project..

I used two inks, speckled egg and fossilized Amber and smooshed the frame through the inks till I was happy.

The center was from these two panels, just speckled egg and smooshed..

Cut the butterflies from one sheet..

Different lights in the day give off mixed colours..

Happy with the frame

And then I built a card and added a pretty butterfly..

I also smooshed some leaves and added them among the flowers and an overload of pearls..

Here is a side view, those flowers are real dimensional but so rock hard they will break the postage stamping machine..

A close up of the butterfly and a bit of the leaf.and also the background..

It is funny, some days I have a real good day taking pictures as I go, and other days I'm all over the place and so many different lights and this was one of the latter, but never mind we got there in the end..

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

A beautiful design Chrissy and love the colours. A fabulous card. Love it. It was 3 degrees when I got up this morning and got to 6 degrees during the day. But the sun was shining all day and I even went for a 2 mile walk down at the beach with a friend. First dry day for a few weeks. Big hugs, Carol S.xxxx
