ALCOHOL INK ROSES..

 Hello everyone,

What makes it easy for me to stand and craft is my desk is 900mm high, which is higher than the kitchen bench, I also have good strong shoes on, scuffs actually with support in the in sole, which now have ink, glue, glitter, and the odd sequins stuck on them, I also have to walk to get dies, pens, tricky stuff and flowers, so I do walk a bit too....so the day I made these cards was another long day, with sit downs in between, my pretty scuffs on and determination..

And it all started with Alcohol inks..I felt like an inky day..

Pretty simple red panel..

And a green one..

Another red with added gold foil flakes..[ have not used this one yet]

Did a blue one too, not used..and the bottom panel was a "suck up the left over sheet" off my craft maty and I liked it a lot so that is the one I used..

Then out came my dies..I used the the ink panel as my base and added red on top..didn't like that much..I think the red card stock was a bit too dark..

So then I cut out the top layer with the other half of the  panel and that made me happy..

Leaves from my stash at this stage and using little card base..
 A2 apparently, 4 1/4x5 1/2 ..

Broke into a new sheet of MFT papers..love,love.

On went the rose and leaves and a gold sentiment which is playing up with the light in here..

The other half of the same set of  flower dies..

A close up, ink panel cut up and on top of the red...much better..

Another close up of other flower..

The two cards together,I'm enjoying making the smaller cards..

The I added a sticker sentiment under the hello, just needed something..

Then my attention went back to the first flowers with the red on top...my brain went into "splatter them" mode...so I did, and to me they looked much better so went with it and made cards..

I also cut leaves from the green ink panel I made earlier..

A couple of panels waiting..

And added the splattered roses, sentiment and gems...

Much better, I really like these now..die cut sentiment..

A vellum sentiment here, stamped it and embossed it with clear powder.

And the two cards together..

Another great day , then the postie came and bough me my order from  Simon Says stamp, and Krafters Cart, so that made me happy too..

So there we go, lots of pics but a lot of fun and happy times, thank you so much for stopping by, and I will see you tomorrow..

They would make great backgrounds, but also as die cuts with their nuances of colors give a lovely. I’ve been wondering about gilding flakes, are they worth investing in, you reckon?
