VINTAGE TAG..

 Hello everyone,

Now my room is sorted and all safe I can get back to doing what I love best and that is crafting..so my first little play I had was making a tag for TAG TUESDAY  and they are having a vintage fortnight..

My first port of call was my Geko Galz folder for my vintage image..
isn't she lovely..

Then through my bits and bobs..

This is my stenciled panel and the stencil was sent to me by my friend Janette..
I used vintage photo for a subtle background..

Die cut it in an oval shep and starting inking up this die cut from Altenew..

and it left such a neat pattern on my scrap paper..

That I stenciled all over my tag with it..

Then had a thought and used this die cut as a stencil too with redish ink, so pretty.

Oop's zoned out and got to this stage rather quick..just popping stuff on here and there to make a look I
liked..

Searching through my ephemera, oh, I love this stuff..

Found a butterfly for my frame, I inked the frame in gold mousse from Nuvo..

Added the frame along with tiny roses and stamped envelopes which were inked around the edges..

Then changed the butterfly to red, it just needed to balance a bit more..

Added a little piece of tatting that I was given with a paper clip, and a postage stamp..
I bought 2 sheets of these and then ran out of ink in my printer when starting to print..
that's why it has the pink on the bottom..

Close up of butterfly and ephemera flowers..

And my finished vintage tag..

Thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back much later on with a DT project..

Stunning Chrissy. So much texture and layers. I love this look but struggle to make it work for me. You really have an eye for it.

I’m impressed you’re able to assemble all the things you want to use before you get started. I never know what to use until I’ve stuck it down. It’s a gorgeous much detailed tag.

So many wonderful layers of vintage beauty here. It’s always fun for me to read about the process of art by an artist. There are so many great details to search out packed into this tag. I feel a little like ‘I Spy’. Great inspiration.
