Hello everyone,
Time for another new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON and the lovely Brenda is our hostes this week with the theme...STENCIL POWER..use stencils..
Okay, I have stencils, quite a lot of them and never could use them properly until a few posts ago, I practiced what I preached and went softly and gently and it works..so I did it again, same stencil and added dies and gems and Dragonflies..
So first my stenciling..lightly and then added a darker with the edge of my blender sponge..
The darker ink gives the shading..
Then die cut Ferns with Poppy stamps Gentle Leaf die..
Glued them in place and added gold die cut Dragonflies..
Bent the wings up a bit so they are flying and added gems to their bodies..
Pretty..
And there we have it, a slimline, fern leafed, dragonfly, master piece with stenciling..ha ha ha..

Your stenciling is beautifully done, and I like the layers added by the die cut leaves and golden dragonflies, they are the icing on the cake. Lovely card.

Like you Chrissy, I have loads of stencils and most not used ever. You have now encouraged me to perhaps use them a bit more.

Way to accomplish stencilling, Chrissy! I'm jealous! (: Delightful card, I especially love all the different layers of green.
It has come out beautifully! Stencils are a thing I don't have a lot of but you make them look easy Chrissy!

Gorgeous card! The stencilling and layers look absolutely fabulous! So glad you got the hang of things. Sometimes, I try to rush and it makes such a difference to go slowly. Your card ended up looking beautiful!
Thanks for the tip, I have great difficulty using stencils...just to heavy handed I think. This is beautiful, Chrissy! It looks as if you will be using those stencils more and more.
