TAG TUESDAY..SHELLS.

 Hello everyone..

Sharing a tag Tuesday project today. Over there they are looking for "SEASHELLS"..

But I'm going to start off with sharing some new paper I bought and they are gorgeous...

A4 paper pad...

All nautical papers...

And map papers,anchors,shells..SHELLS!!..

So for my tag I used this very thick heavy cardboard backing off a paper pad, cut it right down the middle to give me two..

Covered with the map papers...and a strip of the blue seashell papers...

Raided my nautical container for embellishments..

And started by adding tulle and a small piece of onion bag netting...

And glued loads of shells and flowers..

Micro pearls in glue and pasted all over...

My starfish is a glow in the dark sticker off my Grandsons ceiling from when he was a tiny lad..and the glass striped shell bottom right, I acquired on my travels.[ probably from someone's bathroom...shhhh]

Quotes stickers from Tim Holtz," No Journey is too great, if you find what you need ".. little bit of green ribbon lace was on my floor, must have fallen out of the box when I got my tulle out, so I used it..

And there she is..my Saturday morning project in less than 2 hours...done.

Thank you so much for stopping by..
See you tomorrow..

I admire that you're so organized in your making, you pull out what you need and you use it. I search high and low, try different things, changes a bit, before hopefully I glue everything down. That is, if I feel I can arrange things together, it doesn't come naturally, like it seems to for you. This tag turned out gorgeous!

That is a fabulous tag! Oh, and I love the paper pack. I will also keep my onion bags from now on - however, ours are not as "loose" as yours, they're more plastic-y and I sometimes use them as a stencil. Anyway, your tag is gorgeous and I loved to see how you made it.

Your shells are so pretty (regardless of where they came from) and once again, you have created a beautiful scene.
