TYPEWRITER AND LEFTOVERS..

 Hello everyone,

Gosh, the weeks fly by don't they, with DT work and playtime my folder in pictures is filling up rapidly again, and I promised myself to post my stuff, but the day is over before I know it, so going to try a lot harder this time..lol..and do some more scheduling.

So I have more Typewriter die cut cards to share and some boo boo's..

This one was all my left overs from other project, like that one little flower that just would not slot in and look good on your other card, but you just cannot throw it away...

I also remembered to make the note bigger to slide it inside the carriage..and not adding a sticker or extra sentiment card..

My Bee, gems and stamps finished this one off..

And it looks quite nice..

Then I made these..typewriter keys made very small and fussy cut out as I didn't have a die or punch small enough..what a nightmare.

They were glossed up and left to dry...we will come back to this shortly..

Meanwhile back on the ranch!..I made three more cards with the typewriter and leftover daisies which were cut to fit..

Added gold paper piecing to this one and gold Nuvo drops to the keys...not a good idea..the drops went straight through the holes in the keys and blobbed!

So never mind, I will wait till the Glossy accents keys are dry [and they were] and added them to the keyboard..they look okay here, but IRL they are terrible, the cutting was shoddy and I should have inked the edges and they would have been better..

See the edges, awful..

But from a distance and to a non card maker who isn't so fussy striving for perfection which does not exist..they sold.

And this one..

So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you are all well, it is Saturday morning while I'm writing this but will schedule for this evening, where I will be out at my Grandaughters 21st Birthday..in a garage, cold  and deafened with music where they talk more that sing, but we do this with love..and I can sleep in on Sunday..

See you tomorrow..

luv CHRISSYxx

Firstly, congratulations on your granddaughter and I hope you will have a great time in the cold garage.
Your card is gorgeous, although I agree that the typewriter keys are not so beautiful.
Years ago I have bought a clearstamp set from Joy!crafts with Typewriter Keys and with that I also bought a matching punch. That would be great to use with your typewriter.
Have a nice party and a good sleep!

The cards are gorgeous Chrissy- of course they sold! I think we're all too self critical and can always find fault with our creations- often things that no one else would notice! Hope the party went well and you're not frozen or deaf!

OMG I am super impressed with your typewriter keys!!!!! You'll need a sleep after that never mind the garage party (which I hope went well). I just adore all these cards! Oh by the way, I did find my typewriter die, not the same as your though. It's from Tutti Designs.

I think all these cards look awesome, and what you see as imperfections I see as charming details of a handmade card. I do like these flower/type writer layouts!
