NOT A CARD ??!!

 Hello everyone,

Yikes not a card..our new challenge up at As You Like It and our lovely Elaine is hostess for this fortnight..she does not mind what you do.. bookmarks, beading, jewelry making, anything but a card and why it is your favourite non card thing to do...

Why it is my favourite non card thing to do.........................................................................................I don't DO anything else than makes card really, art journal pages..yes, canvases, yes, okay I do do other things when I think hard enough about it, which led me into my storage cupboard and  found some of these wooden bird house and I LOVE birds and Birdhouse, so I played with it..

Fished out my chalk paints and painted my house pale blue..
only needed 2 coats, great paints..

Then I pressed this stencil in place and using a finger dauber I stenciled brown ink onto the roof..
Was not hard to do and the stencil play nicely...

And there I had a pretty shingled roof..

Then glued more leftover and tray leaves onto the sides and front and back..

Made these little birds with my air dry clay and just sprayed them with Distress inks..

Found some of my smallest flowers to glue in place around the perch, roof and base..

A side view, nearly all done..I used the dauber to also add ink around the edges of the birdhouse, just gave it a slightly vintage look..

The little bird coming into land..

The other bird looking for worms after I added some green flower soft..

On the back too...

Same bird, two pictures, not sure why..

Looking down onto the house...

And all done..

Our sponsor is..

So if you make anything but a card pop on over HERE  and share with us...

Thank you so much for stopping by..

Luv CHRISSYxx
