POINSETTIA CARD IN A BOX..

 Hello everyone,

I'm so glad that some Christmas cards are landing through some doors and thank you to all who have let me know..getting close now, so exciting..I made all the chicken stuffing today and bagged it up and in the  freezer, just half thaw and shove it up there where the sun don't shine, and the new season buttercup pumpkins are arriving, so dry and sweet, yum, I made 60 Kumera [sweet potato] croquettes not long ago, so they are all frozen and ready for deep frying..and also today I made sausage meat and cheesy balls..got sour cream and butter in them and a bit of real cream, and will cook them in the air fryer..AND I cleaned my daughters house, busy busy..

And as the basset dog in the sky add says..  Oh! what a day, what a lovely day..

So onto my card for today with it's little box to keep it safe...

Started die cutting Poinsettias and found a quick way to whiten my edges..
I love these big round brushes and can handle them quite well, and Hero Arts white ink pad..

So set to whitening and getting inky..

I needed to paint my straws too as I wanted gold and silver..

And only had stripes..they came our well..

Played with these paper again as I found the beautiful powder blue and white spots papers..

Lace from my stash, this was it, none left, and pine needle leaf dies..

Next  minute it was all glued on, I zoned..

A lovely big white snowflake with a silver one in the center...

All set in my splatter box, my cheap paintbrush and white ink are my best craft room friends...

Added some white bells, I found these at a store last year and the last packet sitting there or I would have bought 10 packets..

A close up of the bells....listen?...they work..

And the card stands up by itself, not too heavy at all..

And of course it needed a box, wished I had stronger card but lucky these days to find any at all..

Added some pine cones onto the box instead of bell...

So there you go, a big day today...

Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx..

Oh my, Chrissy, that tag is EXTRA gorgeous, love it. And the food sounds great, too. You get more done in a day than I do in a fortnight! Hugs, Valerie

My word chrissy, you really are getting prepared!! I have made my Christmas cakes so they are being fed with brandy regularly. Yes, your card arrived yesterday too, it's a beauty, thank you. This is gorgeous, the powder blue spots really are the most perfect background for the beautiful arrangement xx
