THESE TOOK A LOT LONGER...

 Hello everyone,

Red, I love red, but trying to get a good red water colour is hard..with what I have to use of course..

Here is what happened...

Die cutting Bockingford water colour papers [love this stuff]

To save time and to look more Christmassy, I die cut the centers on gold..

Then started water colouring...too pink.

Found this water ink...

Still too pink, but a little better...

then had a rummage and found these and thought they would be dried up,
 but no..
 they all good..

and a much better result..

Look a bit too pink here but IRL they were a lot more red..

Built my flowers...

Lots of layers but not hard to do...

a good dose of splattered white ink....

on the flowers and pine needle leaves..

So all set to go....

See you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

The red turned out perfect for getting the right Christmas feel for these flowers. I’m sure you’re going to make something gorgeous with those...

Beautiufl and I love the colour you ended up with, I usually muck it up with too much black mixed in to darken it, always a learning curve.xx
