ALCOHOL BACKGROUND AND BIRDS ON A BRANCH..

 Hello everyone,

Phew, the last few days have been bedlam, but nice and relaxed today, all DT projects are posted, starting next years to keep me busy and also had a play with some new backgrounds I made ready for Valentine, I know, I'm so organized, drives some people crazy, but I love it..

This project is not for Valentine, this was a Christmas order and I'm allowed to show it now..

Started off getting all sorted out as this stuff can dry real fast..

Got my straw for blowing, alcohol and colours...

Picked my colours and away I went..a few dizzy spells here and there from blowing
but...

. this is what I came up with..

Got my snowy MB branch and decided to add these
small pine needle die cuts...

I really like this...

Die cut some little birds and coloured them and also gave them
some white dots with my gel pen..

The background got it's traditional splattering of white ink..
and I placed the bottom bird before the branch,
just to make sure it was in  the right place...

Both branches glued down and the birds all nestled there...

Then gave one of the birds a nest with eggs in it, a bit late in the season,
 but it's Christmas...

My favourite Merry Christmas sentiment of course..

Then added another "From my house to yours"

A close up of the eggs...2 girls and a boy..

Nearly there, just need some snowflakes, special ones...

And there we have the card all done and sold...

Close up of snowflakes with the crystal gems in the middle,
 so pretty and sparkly..

So there we go,
Thank you so much for stopping by and hopefully see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Fabulous card, Chrissy, love how you made the beautiful background. Your cards are really dreamy! Nice to hear you are organised, I'm not, I'm totally chaotic. This way it's always a nice surprise when I find something I wasn't looking for! Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie

So much extra stash and so much fun to be had Chrissy.
LOve the design. Made me laugh that you even know the sex of these little birds! But, I really do believe you! Can't wait to see them hatch lol.
