TIME FOR ROMANCE...

 Hello everyone,

Time for a bit of romance as February is very close by and I had to fill my selling table out at my son's garage..my daughter in law, is the receptionist and will probably brow beat those poor blokes into buying for their ladies..

So I had a day of Shimmer powders and made some pretty nice backgrounds then cut them up into flowers...

I love these powders and getting better and better at using them..

This is the original panel, very wet here..

Drying off nicely...

Then this one, sprinkled powders all over...

Then half gallon of water onto it..

Laid down these two sheets and got smooshed prints..

Added splatter...

Let it dry..

Added more...

And three extra panels...

These are more true to colour...
Original and three prints...

Then time to cut them the next day...Altenew layered flowers..

Oval background...

And of course leaves..
these leaves were exciting as I was watching Dexter on Netflix..

Hells bells, its a bit rough but loving it...
{PS..this not me!]

my panels were easy using kraft card and crackle stamp..

And used the leftover frame, after stamping with my crackle stamp, on the front..

Crackle stamped and added white oval on inside...

Added my flowers and leaves and a tiny resin cherub..

Little die cut hearts in gold glitter cardstock...

Getting a bit chunky for posting, but very surprised, not at all expensive..

Poked tiny off cuts of vintage lace from " My Lady" back in the day..

And a simple sentiment..
die cut the love in glitter cardstock and added
 Be My Valentine..

So there we go..my first Valentine and not my last..

Lots of pictures, I know, sorry about that, but now the posts get shorter and shorter cause you've seen how and why, and now it's just ooo's  and aaa's.. [I hope]

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I will see you tomorrow..

Totally gorgeous Chrissy. Your panels are amazing. I really must make some panels for flowers. Always good to have them on hand for flowers

You are so well organized in your card making, I admire that. This card is classy and beautiful, I love the effect of the small lace pieces tucked in there.

Gorgeous card Chrissy- very romantic! Love your panels and die cut flowers and the way you've used the tiny scraps of lace... the bit about the exciting leaves just cracked me up! I can just imagine you- eyes wide and scared- fixed on the screen and hands busily inking like crazy! I often knit while I'm watching TV and if it's tense or scary my knitting gets faster and faster- and usually goes wrong because I forget to look what I'm doing or lose count! xx
