VALENTINE WITH LITTLE RED WAGON...DT

 Hello everyone,

I'm hostess over at LITTLE RED WAGON this week and as it is February I'm looking for..

 BE MY LOVE - VALENTINE

any projects you like, cards, altered boxes, junk journals as long as it is LOVE..and I think you know me by now, I don't always do one thing, I like 3 or more, so how about 5 cards..

But first, I have a tip..

Works every time, peel and touch paper towel and that's where it sticks..
No more running around the craft room flapping your hands about trying to get it off your fingers..

More gold stripe wrapping paper..

Cut panels..

And a new flower die from Altenew all pieced together without too many bad words..
Bit fiddly to say the least, but I love it..

Background panels die cut...oop's, too short

Quick fix..

You would never know..

Went over frame with green gold marker..

Got the flower stem sorted...

Sentiment cut then glued onto vellum then trimmed..

Put it altogether..

Done, just added a few hearts back on that came out of the die cut,
 trust me, you get heaps..

Card #2...panels
Matted and layered..

Flower stem and hearts, plus sentiemnt...Done..

Card #3..an oldie but goodie cuttlebug die..

Flower stem hearts and sentiment plus Nuvo gold drops...Done

Card#4..all the red panels that I die cut were made with Alcohol inks...

And I must admit Yuppo paper cuts really well..

All my bits ready...

All put together and done..

Oh!...now what..

Panels done..

Aha, leftovers...

Added them onto the panels..

flower stem and sentiment and a touch of lace this time...

Done..phew!

and there we have 5 cards, with envelopes, ready for their cellophane bags..

So sorry there were so many  pictures, but I wanted them all in one post as I have quite a bit to share coming up..

If you made it down here then just a reminder why...this is post for...

Look at you - you made an entire set! Such fabulous cards, Chrissy! I don't want to play favourites but I especially like card #3. And your thumbs up & thumbs down pictorials totally made me smile. (:

I have come to love making slimline designs and especially, the mini ones as they are super practical for postage too. The gold and white striped paper adds an elegant touch to these love themed card designs - very pretty!

Your cards are all so elegant and beautiful! And what a clever fix too! I'd certainly never know the panel was initially too short.
