BIG PROJECT..

 Hello everyone,

So after scheduling quite a few DT post's I had some time, not much, but some, time on my hands and always wanted to make a journal style book using only what I had, nothing new, just an old ringbinder, gorgeous papers [thank goodness for those]..serviettes, pearls and time..

So I made a shabby Chic junk journal, I think..and lots of photos,30 of them.. sorry....I mean it, really sorry, but I may edit some out....let's go..

This was kraft coloured paper that I bought by mistake, I thought it was the card that I liked but it wasn't, so it was left in my draw for ages..until now.

A4 sheets, folded in half and glued together..

Ring binder and halved papers..

For my cover, back and front, inside and panels I used serviettes, they are so pretty.

But not too flash at covering black though..

After binder was totally covered, I then made panels with the serviettes and added them on..

And it looked much better..

Then added lace from my stash and some rose ribbon lace..

Made some flowers..

and used papers from Paper Rose for the background layers for these ones..

Nice..

Beautiful papers..and did stitching with my machine, that was fun..

Ooo, look, a negative piece will make something with that!

Ripped papers and glued down...

Added flowers and postage stamps that I printed off...

Loaded on the Ephemera..

die cut frames and made pockets and tags...

Added quotes onto tags..

Made sure there were several tags in each pocket...

Made water falls and quotes inside each panel..

More Ephemera...

Waterfall panel...

I found these wonderful sets from The Paper Boutique and used loads of them and still doing so with a couple of other projects..

They made making pages so easy and I really had fun doing this..
right or wrong I didn't care..

Through in an Art Deco design with the old Telephone..

Beautiful ribbon and roses with pearls here form my stash..

Another waterfall...

More Ephemera as well to fill gaps..

This was the front cover...

Then added the ROSE ...gardens are filled with love...
cut from along the top of some 12x12 papers..

She got pretty thick..

Inside back cover...

And book standing up to see all the pages..

The End..

Thank you so much for stopping by, sorry it was so long I just couldn't take out pictures..

I think it looks like so much fun to do projects like this, I see it as a potential for a special gift for a special person, but I don’t have enough time. Especially now. But one day, hopefully, this will be on my agenda too. It turned out very pretty.
