Hello everyone,
I have been playing with my water colours again, my cheap paints from the kids department but they work for me..
A Tim Holtz flower die and they are mighty big flowers but perfect for water colouring, after they are cut out..
They glue up easy, all the different layers and really not that many..
So when the flowers were dry and ready, I fished out my Ephemera, I love these cut outs..
I chose the biggest and brightest butterfly in the pack...
Added my flowers and some more ephemera flowers to the bottom onto top of this beautiful navy striped paper from Paper Rose..
Butterflies wings all fluffed up..
Not too much dimension, still goes through the mail at normal postage..and they are 5x7 cards I seem to be making these days..
And there she is, all finished with her bright blue gems and looking fine..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you later tomorrow...DT project..
Luv CHRISSYxx

A lovely combo of your beautiful watercoloured flower and the ephemera- stunning butterfly! The striped paper makes the perfect backing, adding interest without being overpowering.xx
I make mostly mini slimline these days, they’re easier to keep within the maximum weight limit, or I do A2 size. I should be more adventurous, like I was in the beginning, but it’s easy to stick with a favorite:) gorgeous flowers and ephemera.
Gorgeous card with a fab butterfly. Love the striped background.
