BOYS OR GIRLS...DT

 Hello everyone,

A BIG project to share today for my design team post for As You Like It  and the theme is..

Boys or Girls..

I LOVE making girly, classy, elegant cards for a female, but, I LOVE making grunge and steampunky and mechanical for the guys..

This time, I went cute, as our sponsor is .. Last Minute Manda  with their adorable cute and fun images..

Here we go...

another cardboard box opened up and cut in half...time to paint.

I used my chalk paints, they cover well and dry fast..

Then white paint and this sponge thing and pounced the paint on..
makes neat foam..

Did the same in the sky bit a lot lighter and made clouds..

Printed and fussy cut loads of bunnies different sizes, this is some of them..

I did colour first sometimes,
but like to fussy cut while sitting down so coloured lots after that..

I needed rocks, so cloud dies it was using dark grey card stock..

Then screwed it up..

I have rocks..

Die cutting was huge part of this project..
Birds, waves and a dolphin..

A lighthouse and more rocks..

Then all the bunnies came out to play...

Putting the bunnies and die cuts into place and gluing down..

Holly was there helping..

Getting there..

Some bunnies were coloured around the edges with grey markers, and some with brown, just for different looks as they are the same bunnies..so to speak..
They were printed different sizes so they look like mum and kids..or big brother.

They look very happy there..

This little cutie was playing in the rock pools and found a starfish, and Stanley was there..

Building a sand castle..

Stanley..

So there it is wide open..
Then decided to do a cover or the other side..

Oh, bummer..
Beach a day at the???

Never mind when it is folded you don't see it like that..

All the die cut boats had different coloured sails and were racing across the bay..

I glued the crab on the letter C and it made it look like a G..

All folded up..

The back..

Closed up..

Took the clip off and it does not stay closed but that's okay..

All ready to open for reveal..

What a great fun time I had making this..

1 digi stamp set for the prize..

Come join us here with you favourite girl or boy and why!!

Thank you so much for getting to the end of this post and for
 stopping by, so much appreciated,,

See you in a couple of days..

Luv CHRISSYxx

WOW, this is brilliant, what a fabulous creation Chrissy. You do the most amazing scenes and they all look like they are having such fun, although I wouldn't trust Stanley as far as I could throw him hahaha, buggers for stealing ice creams from anyone, they are fearless...But anyway its all wonderful.xxx

Chrissy, you are a true artiste! How do you even come up with the combinations of ideas that your fingers so magically put together? It's a darling creation, and sure to cheer up the recipient. I'd never want to put it away with those darling, sun-loving bunnies! Such cuteness - and of course, it's nice for Holly to assist!
hugs,

You are the queen of recycling boxes and pieces of boxes. It is a pleasure seeing how your project grows. And of course with big help of Holly.
Love your beach scene at both sides!

Brilliant Chrissie! Such an amazing panorama - you are incredibly talented!!! Why not try some magnets to keep it closed - you could hide them by adding a sun or cloud on top or just some patterned paper or paint so they blend into the scene? Hugs, Kate!
