BOOKLETS - NUMBER ONE

 Hello everyone,

Yikes, nearly did it again with not posting, the time just took off since I scheduled my Wednesday post and now it is Sunday evening..BUT..I did heaps of DT projects, upcoming Birthday cards AND cleaned my oven..what a great feeling.

So today I'm sharing a project #1 as I made three, just couldn't stop once I got going..

I remember the day these came and I showed them on my blog not having any idea what they were for, just thought they were window envelopes..

and learned from the comments they were CD sleeves.

Then watching Sunset crafts and more on you tube,
I watched Maggie make a booklet..

I had the rings, cardstock for panels and the sleeves..so gave it a go..

First they were embossed then inked..

Then I pulled out my chipboard ephemera ready for decorating.

I made the panels and added the top tabs..
one left, one right, one in middle..repeat!..

and lathered them with washi tape stickers
of any theme I fancied, nothing matched, just fill them up.

See..slap them on ad trim if necessary..

Until you have six..

Then you can add anything you want,
for this set I used some of my Tim Holtz paper dolls.

Then gave them all a washi tape flower sticker..

Punched holes down the side and added eyelets..

See the eyelets..love these things..

All the pockets were decorated with the ephemera..

The rings were added and presto, a little CD sleeve booklet with panel..

So, there you go..

Thank you so much for stopping by, hope you enjoyed these and will be back when my rings arrive from Temu so I can put the others together..
See you sono..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh Chrissy, I just love your book idea here and how you've transformed these sleeves into something extra special with your Vintage elements! I love your ideas friend! I just cleaned my oven a few days ago and yes, it does feel nice, but it wore me out bending over! LOL Have a great week!

Hi Chrissy it is a pleasure to pay you a visit I did want to thank you for your kind words and encouragement that you left for me on my blog it was so much appreciated, I am sure that I will get back to some normality some day soon, I hope. I think your project is absolutely spectacular full of amazing goodies and vintage ephemera I love how you have used those CD sleeves I remember these from a long time back once again never thought of using them this way or in fact anyway at all, it takes a true artist and crafter to be able to see something special is something that would normally been binned, I love how they were inked and embossed and the vintage figures put into the centres it makes them look like photograph frames, stupendous work thank you so much for joining my Floral Theme challenge at Allsorts
hugs
