Hello everyone,
Beautiful day here in sunny Napier this morning, a bit frosty and chilly but going to turn out gorgeous..
This week over at LITTLE RED WAGON our lovely Brenda is our hostess and she wants for her theme... Put it in Neutral - (Use primarily neutral colours..ie black, grey, beige..you get the idea )
I went with just that and made, surprise, surprise, a booklet..
My son gets a lot of his supplies stuffed with brown wrapping paper, my DIL who works with him saves it and sometimes it comes to me in a little bit worse for wear, but I love it and take it, and stretch it out, and fold it and trim it and end up with folded stacks like this , some A5 size ready for my booklets..some a bit smaller.
Sorted out some neutral papers for this project..
and these ones are tea and coffee stained and some distress inks.
made a folder cover using a manilla folder..
and a load of panels..
and just started doing stuff..
lined all the cover inside and out..
These panels were in my stash and I added stickers and ink..
Book tied up with chiffon ribbon..
front page with pocket and tag..
Then the panel lifts up and another pocket with small tags..
my theme here was all about the news,
like a newspaper journal..
and just filled with news page and stickers of journalists..
pockets all over..
Vintage photographs..
Overseas news..
and rolled up newspaper in a pocket..
Great file papers made into a pocket with news strips..
more photos for a story..
sports pages..
Culture pages
more news
and bits and pieces..love these papers, all scraps..
the back pages and a train pocket,
filled with ephemera tags..
and back to the beginning, all tied up..
so do come on over HERE and join in..
Thank you so much for stopping by,
I'll see you tomorrow with another DT..
luv CHRISSYxx
