SEW WHAT...DT

 Hello everyone,

Wednesday is here and time for another new challenge over at Little Red Wagon and JanR is our fabulous hostess this week with her theme " SEW WHAT " - any stitching real or faux, hand drawn etc...

So my first port of call was the opp shop..and found some old dress patterns, when I say old they were in years but some had never even been cut out, still brand new condition.

look at the style, lol, how fun.

So these sheets were going to be my " Design ".

.even the guide sheet was perfect and already for ripping and tearing

Time to cut and rip..what a great day..

I had this cute little die, so cut it out twice, once in white, once with patterned paper
and pieced it together..

Using the tissue pattern papers and covered card stock as it was just too thin..

easy to do, dries fast

then I sewed it using my sewing machine..

Matted the panels onto red to make them pop a bit..

Did some fancy stitching here..

and added papers die cut buttons, they were fun,
and some die cut spools where I wrapped cotton around them..

I fussy cut this mannequin..

and layered all my bits onto the card..

On the inside I added more bits..

and all done..what a lot of fun I had here..

So pop on over with your stitched project, anything you want to make is awesome, no matter what..

Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you tomorrow..
