Hello everyone,
Happy Saturday and been a very busy time in my craftroom with orders and even a scrap book, but cannot share that one as it is very, very personnel, but beautiful, and customer was over the moon, her husband even more so..
Moving on, late Autumn / winter where most of my crafty friends, late Spring here, but still really chilly..
So I felt the need to make a winter style card and .really wanted to use my boot skate dies..
AND, a fancy fold..
With a panel flipping up..
and all my papers were left overs and I made all my matts..
and snow banks and pockets with tags too..
This pocket with tag under the flap
Snowbank added to panel...
Holding it closed for now..and then definitely
needing decoration..
Die cut my boots, once in white, the bottom in silver..
Coloured the heels and laced them up with white string..
So they were glued onto the panel with fir tree branches, snowflakes
and berries, all die cut..
This is folded flat ready for posting, the panel lays just inside..
I had die cut candles and layered them up to make them nice and thick
as were the holders and then added dripping wax ( Nuvo stone drops )
Panel ready..
The flap has it's decoration after making one of those folded envelope things
with pockets everywhere and little bits n pieces poked in here and there..
The tag under the flap had a disc added die cut and 25 glued on
with some holly and berries..
and a lovely sentiment stamped on..
and finished, the card all ready to go..

WOW, you have been busy, wish we could have seen the scrapbook, but its not always possible I know.
This is so much more than a 'card' Chrissy, it has so many parts, love the boots, so gorgeous, the pockets and little tag to pull up with the verse on is a real nice touch. I love it.
Woke this morning and its like Wuthering heights here, everywhere misty, can't see across the fields properly, but I like it, is that weird I wonder hahaha. xx
