CHRISTMAS # 7

 Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well and happy, shopping nearly done and getting things in order for next month..I'm nearly finished, just a few things I'm waiting for, posting cards off next week, and YIKES, the postage has gone up again..you would think that the postal service would make a bucket load of money if they did a Christmas postage special,,10 or more cards half price..or a flat rate 2 buks each..just saying.

So here we are, Christmas #7..

A card box?....or box card?..

I have made a lot of these for local handing out this year, I can fit a whole package of shortbread inside, the card on top and it makes a lovely gift..

I have a pocket inside the lid and with a tag inside..

pom pom trims, die cuts, sentiments, snow banks and snowflakes..

inside the card, another pocket and tag..

the tag out and plenty of room to write...

Holly leaves and berries and such lovely colourful snowman.

So there you go..
Thank you so much for stopping by.
I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Beautiful, lovely idea to add a little gift inside too Chrissy.
I am with you re-the postage, what a scam that is, ours has gone potty and it makes me so mad, like they don't make enough cash, oh well, good will to all men and all that, hahaha. BTW I am in the same boat with this blogger nonsense, it drives me mad it really does.
Have a good weekend. xx

It does make a wonderful gift Chrissy, your box is beautifully decorated inside and out as are the cards and tags inside it, those snowmen are delightful, such a lovely way to package your shortbread.

Hubby bought stamps for me during his lunch hour today and he about had a heart attack with how much I spend on stamps, but he told me it was ok :).
Your box is such a beautiful presentation for the card inside, Love those old fashion snowman images, with the pretty snowflakes, that trim does give you the feeling of snowballs, that was such a great idea to use with this.

Totally agree, postage is so scary. They are going to put us card makers out of business!! I absolutely love this though. I must try add some pompoms to mine. I love the way you added them Chrissy.

Another beautiful box card, Chrissy! Simply stunning. Do you mail these? I'm curious. I'd be terrified it'd get squashed. I hear you on the postage. I just mailed 12 Christmas cards and 1 birthday card the other day (international mailings) and it cost me EUR 52.00!
