Hello everyone,
I'm off out for lunch on this dreary Sunday so that should be nice, then I'll get dropped at my daughters and help her with her knitting, it is such a painful process watching hold her needles like they have a disease with her elbows poking out in a funny direction, she has never knitted before and so funny to watch..She dropped a stich and messaged me in panic of what to do..she had no interest in anything like craft or sewing and knitting while growing up, now middle aged, and here we go!!
After the baby boy card and such lovely comments here and on Facebook, I had the need to make a baby girl card to sort of match...
This little Teddy die comes like this and you
add clothing like a cut out doll but I forgot to the photos
as I went as the phone was on charge in the other room..
but you will see her dressed in a minute..
Lovely sweet image which I've had waiting for a very long time.
and a pink gingham frill this time..
The card opens as a tri fold and the papers were patched
as they were only 6x6 and my cards are 8" high..
My Couture Creations pram cut a few times and pieced
back together into colour.
I then added onto the front those cute little ribbon
flowers that come in a long strand and I just
snip off a few and used as decoration..
Here's the teddy in her dress with her arms and legs added,
so much fun to cut and put together..
The sentiment is from Stamping Up, it says..
" One Little Baby
many happy hearts"
The baby Shoes, die cut in white then pink..
the pink went back in the holes..
the pram all finished with tiny resin flowers on the wheels
and sitting under a tree for shade..die cut and sponged with Altenew inks..
And the opened card...
and close again..
So there you go, a baby girl card to match with the baby boy card..
I had such a lovely time I went and made two more boy cards and a birthday one too, so will share those soon..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
See you soon..
luv CHRISSYxx
