The Bluebird of happiness

                                                  Hi! Everyone,

Well my friends, the title has absolutely nothing to do with my card, It is just the way I feel today.

A parcel arrived from Joans Gardens, with dies, and beautiful papers...that made me happy.
My car has been fixed, the bill is paid, I'm debt free today, that made me happy.
The sun popped out after a thick pea soup started the day, and we were all driving at 20km, and all running late for work, so that made me happy.[cause now its cosy]
I have more wedding invites to do, more money in the bank, that made me happy.

The bluebird of happiness has pooped on my shoulder, I feel like Kylie Minogue, and could sing
'Lucky Lucky Lucky' for the rest of the day....

But it wont be long and I suppose something will come along and kick me in the ask... me no questions, and I tell you no lies....

Okay, okay, enough dribble..I have a card...and it was a hard one for me.

PINK and ORANGE for a challenge at Delightful inspiration and I struggled...

Have left the sentiment off, as a lady is thinking about it, and wants it personalised.

Papers are basic grey, 'life of the party' ,image is from designed to delight, spellbinders butterfly, cuttlebug hearts, and ribbon from my collection.Pink blings from Kaiser.Coloured with pencils.

I just found the colours a challenge, which is what it's all about I suppose, but I finished it, and I'm happy enough...but no bluebird here..lol..

Thanks for all your lovely comments, I'm going to go cuddle my new papers and dies now, need some inspiration.

Luv CHRISSYxx

Hi Chrissy. It sounds like you had a wonderful day. Isn't it great when you think about your day and it is the simplest of things that make you smile? I love days like that. Of course a parcel with dies and wonderful paper never hurts the mood now does it? lol... Great card. Love the papers and the colors. I think you rocked it. Have a wonderful time with your new papers. Hugs, Lisa

gorgeous! I love how you managed to give your flutterbyes a 3D effect (and I don't even have to wear those zany glasses!) The image is the cutest!!! Thank you for your kindness on my blog. Can you tell me what you mean about giving credit to an entrant? I so believe in giving credit where credit is due...I want to understand how to do so! Blessings, Samara xox

Great post Chrissy, so nice to hear about all the positives in your day. It is so easy to get caught up in all the negatives.

Your card is so pretty, tricky colour combo but you made it work beautifully.
