Flower Power

                                                    Hello everyone...

Brrr...chilly today, cloudy, gusty winds, and nearly got strip searched by 'my Lady' today, checking that I had a singlet didnt..never have...but I did have 2 tops on, which came off pretty quick once I started the washing, cleaning and making the bed, in her 200o house...Gosh, I was glad to get outside.

Have a card to share, and are you allowed to say 'I love this' at my own creation...cause I do.

I really struggle with the flowers normally, but this time they just shot on there and I was very happy with them.
My Kenny K stamp called 'troublemaker' that I won, but she was no trouble at all.
Coloured with copics and from WOC...spellbinders butterfly...and a freebie sentiment. Added a feather, the only red one I possess.and black scroll/leaf die cut from Dora.[who is on such a roll at the moment]

Entering this card in a challenge at KKK Girlz...and a challenge at flutter by Wednesdays

Thanks for stopping in, and all your lovely comments, I have a few commision cards to do over the weekend, so if all goes well I will share them on Sunday.

It's not surprising you're so pleased, this is a gorgeous card. I just can't "do" the flower embellishing that seems so popular,it gives a gorgeous look how you've done it but I just can't achieve such beauty. Keep warm,Julie x

This is fabulous, Chrissy! I wasn't sure I liked the Kenny K images at first because they seemed to me at the time to perpetuate that male attitude about women that I don't particularly care for... but the more I see them, the more I like them. I still think a few of them are a bit over the top but for the most part, they're just fun... and fun to color too, I imagine. Love everything about this card... the image, your coloring, the palette you chose and those yummy flowers! You are certainly justified in being happy with your own work. If you can pass your own critical judgement, then your creations will very likely please others.

I wish it was cool here today! It's supposed to be close to 100 degrees already and it's barely the beginning of summer. We'll have 2 more months, at least, to endure the heat and I'm not looking forward to it at all! I have always wanted to visit New Zealand, especially after seeing the glorious landscapes in the Lord of the Rings movies. It looks like heaven on earth to me. I'd trade the big chain craft stores and this heat for your beautiful countryside any day of the week, my friend! LOL! Thanks for the sweet comment you posted to my blog today. It's very much appreciated.
