Boy Bears

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I felt myself  getting bored, as was so happy to feel like that.

It has made such a difference, than just feeling like death warmed up...not wanting to eat, coughing, and generally feeling so sorry for myself.
I had not even wanted to make cards or colour and was really glad that I had cards pre-done, at the almost finished stage at least, and DT work all done....BUT...yesterday I felt the urge...that drawing me into the craft area feeling....the need to sort through some papers and I made this.........

Cute skateboard bear freebie from  May Britt.

Coloured with pencils, grass with green copic.Papers are from Basic Grey 'life of the party'.
Buttons from my stash, and all done in brown/orange for  a challenge at Here come the boys

Also going to enter him in a challenge at Ready teddy go and this link is playing up, so hope it works this time...the theme here is buttons and a bow.
I dont usually use a bow for a boy card but found this checkered ribbon hanging up over my door frame and it fits in fine.

So thats it, will have another one tomorrow, feeling so much more's been a rough ride.
Thankyou all from the bottom of my heart for the well wishes...probably thats why I'm feeling better.

Going to do some dishes awful dosn't it...and clean the front ranchslider where 'Harry sits and drools...poor dog...but I did put him in the car yesterday, drove up to the creek and let him out for a play while I sat in the car...bit too chilly to be out in the wind, but he was fine...did his thing and came back when called...WET...and we came home.

Catch you later,

This is a fabulous card, Chrissy. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, they say, and your fondness for crafting shines forth in this creation.

I am so glad you are starting to feel better. I was able to do my dishes today and I too was thankful to be able to do that task.

Thanks for commenting on my blog post about my friendship afghan.

Hi Chrissy, glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery if not still 100% fit.

Thank you for entering this at Ready-Teddy-Go challenge, it is adorable and has given me some food for thought for a male card I have to make for a commission soon. Can't say I like making male themed cards . . . I can't use my favourite . . . pink!!!
