I am very glad I made a few cards...well 2 actually,before Dot arrived as there has not been craft time,since she's been here...You cant really do that sort of thing when someone is visiting, and not inclined..so I have another card to share today.
It's very early morning here in NZ, Thursday, and we had a wonderful day yesterday. We went shopping in town, her from Christchurch, one of the largest cities, looking for a mall here in tiny Napier...A MALL..lol..we do have two..but theres nothing in one of them, and the other is boring,but we laughed and looked in the shops, had morning tea, the size of a main meal, and shopped some more.
The good thing with Dot, she loves emporiums and that is one type of shop we have plenty of.
The weather turned to custard early afternoon, and we laughed about that too,had a quiet tea last night at home, put our PJ's on and watched TV...although I did sneak on the computer and visited a few while she was watching ballroom dancing....and she sings, with the music....badly..sort of screechy...
and so suddenly........no wonder we were exhausted at 10pm...all the laughing, and singing we went to bed about then.....thats where she still is...snoring softly.
My card is for a challenge at Totally Tida with a recipe pears/swirl/ribbon and lace.
There she is...
Coloured with pencils,and pearls, ribbon, lace, and a Tim H. swirl, which is ok, but a bit heavy for me, and I always have to cut bits off...fabulous glittered paper,I think MMI, not sure, a few flowers glittered and I remembered the sentiment...yay.That is the one thing I definitely forget.
So there it is, someones coughing up the hallway, so my peace is about to be shattered, so will love and leave you all, will try to catch up over the weekend as Dot leaves 6am Saturday morning,and then I have a few clients to tend to, as I've had the time off...and they think their throats have been slit..
Another day of laughter coming on...more panadol, and going to show her some more sights...she has not been here for 32 years we worked out yesterday, so things have changed a lot.
