MIM- DT Halloween Fun

Hello, and Happy Monday to everyone...

.I'm happy as I have today off from work,[only cause I'm still sick]  the sun is shinning ,the dog is bored...he needs a walk, BUT..I managed to change my bed this morning...who would have thought that a feather duvet was so heavy..lol..I'm so weak...flipping that thing nearly finished me....ahhh! but I can laugh today, as I'm starting to feel a bit better...
Thank you so much for the well wishes, I absorbed them all into my heart and that made it sing...the next best thing to having your Mum[in spirit] with you when you are sick... is to have such caring blogging friends.Thank you...

Well my friends.. another week has gone by.....and we are approaching the time for the old fat man in the funny red suit to sneak into our homes...but before that..we have ghosts and goblins...and this is the first time I have ever attempted anything to do with halloween...and we will get there in a moment.

                                                          MAKE IT MONDAY

                                                          is ready to start again.

First things first...congratulations to last weeks winners....a lot of entries last week...excellent work.

And a big warm welcome to Lisa  and Rene  our to new DT's, lovely to have you with us.
I found a very cute project as my favourite pick sent in from Tracy and you really need to go there and check out the rest of the pages in this mini album..really lovely.

So, moving on to this weeks sponsor, and we are so lucky to have Emma as our sponser this week.

Emmas store is well worth a visit, with a huge variety of papers, tools and embellishments.

This weeks prize for winning commentor, is a 10pound voucher to spend in store[p&p not included]

For my card this week, I wanted to have a play with Halloween, as I have never celebrated the event, but quite like spooks and things that go bump in the night, plus the G/sons were here when I started this card, and they think ghosts and goblins are "so cool".

Well, there are no spooks here, just a scarcrow, a freebie from Spyder [Lyn] and a few pumpkins, corn, and an old house...oh! and BATS....

Coloured with pencils, and inked sponges, and the big bat I made with a leaf die from Cheery Lynn Designs die number C184. I just cut the 3rd leaf off and added a confetti circle for his head, stuck him in the netting [hair net] and there was my bat...I did trim his wings a bit to get more shape, but was very easy.

Well, thats this post done, keep linking up your cards to Make it Monday  love popping by for a visit.

Hope you all have a splendid week....happy crafting!!

Luv CHRISSYxx

First off, I am glad to hear that you are feeling a little better. There is nothing worse than wanting to get things done and being too weak and cruddy feeling to even sit up. Second, I just have to tell you that I think you have caused a run on the hairnets of the world. lol.... I have been to three of our local drug stores and Walmart and all of them are sold out. OMWord, I remember the only person that ever wanted a hairnet was my Grandma. So now let me tell you that I love your Halloween card. It is just the right amount of creepy night for me. I am ok with Halloween as long as it doesn't get to scary. lol...I'm a big chicken and I like it that way. Have a great day off and get some rest. Hugs, Lisa
