Well...it is not whitebait season at all, to darn wet and cold for those little fishys to swim up stream, but a friend of mine is having a Birthday, and he loves fishing for whitebait...well, by the time you top and tail and gut them there's not much left..lol..
His wife asked me the other day to make this for him.....
Well...a fisherman card she asked for, and fisherman he is.....
An image off the internet, coloured with pencils, and gel pens to make the fish shiney.
Papers from stash, and the cute netting is a hairnet, which I found at the $2 shop...cool eh!!

I cut it in half and stretched it over the card, tacked it down, added a couple of sentiments, all done.
Will drop it off to her tomorrow...
Thats me folks, I'm very tired tonight, the weather is just shocking, it is pouring down, with those horrible icy winds, the snow did not quite reach us here in Napier, too close to the beach, but the winds did...brrr...now I've picked up a chesty cough, and it hurts to cough..and in my head as well.
Time for lemon drink..yum...and pandol. I'll fight it off.

Hey girl, you been posting every day and I'm so far behind not sure I'll every catch up... Did go through your blog to see what I'd missed while away and there are some pretty amazing creations you've been sharing. This card is so perfect for a fisherman and so darn cute.
