Elegance in a hat

Hello Everyone...

Thank you so much for your comments on yesterdays card..and now that my brain is working better, I need to thank Sweet Claire  for the link in the first place...She had found the images and was not sure if we were able to use them, so I checked it out, and yes you can for private use only, so thanks Claire.

And....guess who won Lisa's Halloween Candy   yep...you betcha...was ME...whoo hoo!!

Today I'm going to share my elegant lady.........

When I first started this, I hated it...my hat didnt come out the right colours, so added more green, then it went too green so added yellow..and so on, nearly tossed it in the bin, but kept going and now it is not too bad...I think once it was edged in glitter, sort of livened it up a bit..

Coloured with pencils, lace and lovely papers from my stash, flowers WOC and Martha Stewart leaf punch in the dark brown card stock.

Some half pearls...and ....the feathers.

So there she is, I'm going to give this card to my Son in laws, mother [my friend Barb] for her Birthday on Friday...

Also going to enter in challengs...

The Squirrel and the Fox   [hats or flowers]

Paper take weekly  [anything goes and bling if you want]

Right....off come the paper clips, put them in the jar, papers with links go into paper tray, all done..

Have a wonderful day/evening....wash day today at 'my ladys' so she will be happy...it is a beautiful day, so washing will be outside on the line...thank goodness.

No sign of that mouse since we baited the place...no fresh poop!!

Will leave you with this naughty boy..........

What have you got!!!!!!

Who ME??....chill out mum it's only the lunchroll wrap cardboard tube...Oh! and the lunchwrap wax paper....

Luv CHRISSYxx

As for your boy's face, doesn't he look so innocent? What is your problem, mum? There's something about paper and cardboard....gotta destroy it! LOL!

Hi Chrissy, This is so beautiful. I am glad that you didn't toss it. She looks so elegant with her hat and your coloring is fantastic as always. Your friend is so going to love it. I am also happy to hear that your mouse friend is no where to be found. Nasty little critters. Now let me get to Harry. lol... Oh Harry! He sure looks like he is enjoying himself. Don't you just love how something so simple can be such a delight? Did Harry help you clean up after he went to town? lol... I love that you share him with us. I must be getting old, as I love seeing people's pet just as much as their babies now. Hope you have a wonderful day. It is almost Friday here and I can not wait to get the chance to craft this weekend. Hugs, Lisa

Hahahaha...perfect way to start the day with a funny story and a beautiful card. I love the color of the hat and you are right, the sparkle just makes it!
Had to giggle at the paperclip comment too..so glad that is working out wonderfully for you. Good thing you weren't using the wax paper to hold them together..HA!

Thank you SO much for playing along with us at The Squirrel & The Fox for our challenge.
Good luck to you and we hope you come back next week to play along again.
Big Hugs,
Lisa xx

Hat and flowers - congrats on using both in our Hats or Flowers challenge at The Squirrel & The Fox. It was so nice of you to join us, your creation is so sweet. I hope to see you there again soon.
Your cheeky pup would get along brilliantly with mine, he has just left the 'guts' of a stuffed toy from one end of the loungeroom to the other.
