Hello Everyone.....
Sunday morning here...second city in the world to see the sun come up...clocks went back last night...so that now is the end of summer, because the clocks says so...and to celebrate, I sliced my knuckle off last night with the cheese grater, my first finger on my left hand, my colouring hand, knuckle gone, and so is the cheese as I could not find it..yuk!!!..all bandaged up, and tried colouring last night....mmm....could be a bit more difficult than I first thought....and this morning it's all stiff...
Now....'My Lady'....well, I was given the OK..she's coming home bit....but alas she didn't...and I felt like I fell off my bike, and didn't want to say anything about it on my blog, but she is doing good, the occupational therapist wanted to do more with her first, so she is still in hospital.....by the time she gets out I will have to do her gardens all over again, for goodness sake....so hopefully, again ! Monday will be her day of return...
Anyway, have a card to share, and have to post today as the challenge ends at UK midnight....
Gorgeous Teddy Bea sitting in the garden.....for the challenge at Teddy Bo
and I chose to do Buttons and Bows...
There she is all coloured up with pencils..chose the colour combo of yellow and purple...and then the papers look pink, thats what you get for choosing papers and colours at night time.
Never mind, they blend together, and the papers are a new pad which jumped into my basket from docrafts - papermania -capsule collection.
Lace is new too, and the little bows are plastic, off hair snaps..
So thats it for today...1st April today, but I'm not fooling, my knuckle is hurting typing..lol..and 'My Lady' is NOT home...and blogger is supposed to drop his surprise with this new upgrade thing, and I'm dreading it..it takes me long enought to post now, and I've heard that the new look is hard to find anything....so will see you around August..maybe Christmas....but I will be back, I will be floating around cyber space finding buttons, and there could be a few e-mails coming your way if I get totally bamboozled...
Luv CHRISSYxx

Chrissy I am so sorry to hear about your knuckle. That tends to really hurt and it hasn't even started to heal. Ouch! I think however that your card looks as beautiful as ever and if I didn't know you had hurt your coloring hand I would never know it. lol.. BTW, Jerry is a lefty and I love the fact that you are too. lol.... I hope to see you around as well. I love seeing your work and talking to you. Happy April 1st. We are still on March 31st and it is Jerry's 48th Birthday, so we spent last night with my cousin and his wife having a bit of a party for him.
Hugs, Lisa
Ouch that sounds painful,Your card is gorgeous beautiful colouring and design.xxx
Oh such a cute card!! OUCH!! your poor knuckle! hope your Knuckle is better sooooon! hugs me xx
O.M.G Chrissy what a stunning card and you with a knuckle short !!.
Wow ....I winced when I read about your run in with the cheese grater.
Have a quieter Sunday , try to keep your limbs in one piece Hugs Elaine
Oh dear, you have had some bad luck. I hope your hand heals really quickly, but the knuckle is always in use with bending the fingers so I guess it may take a while. Hope you don't have to do too much more gardening, and hope that Monday goes to plan!!! Your card is gorgeous. I love lilac and the image is so adorable. By the way, I upgraded my blogger layout early. Big mistake!!! I guess I have to use it sometime, but it is hard to find things. There are more logo buttons than buttons with text and things have moved locations. I guess I will get used to it, over time. Lots of time!!! Things move on, and we have to move with the times. Let us know how you get on.
Hugs
Annette

Ouch! I've done that before. I hope your knuckle heals quickly.
Your card is gorgeous! Your coloring is beautiful even with a injured hand.
Hmmm, tell you how sorry I am about your knuckle first or write about this gorgeous card? Ok, knuckle first, because without your knuckle you can't color such beauties as Bea! Oh yes, the stiffness after a bad cheese grater scrapping- ouch!! I hope you are healing quickly, Chrissy. Now to Bea...she is so beautiful! I am in love with her- your coloring is superb! And the paper, lace and bow add just the right touch. It's funny how we look at things, even hair-clip bows, as something that could be used on a card! Where do you get all this talent? Chrissy, please mail me a little! I am so very glad that you share your talent now via your blog. You are so inspiring. I really, really love this card.

That knuckle is going to take a few days to heal and if you grated it with anything other than a stainless steel grater you might want to consider getting a tetanus shot just to be safe. Truly an amazing card and beautiful coloring. She looks pretty sassy sitting in her garden. Take care kiddo and don't overwork that finger. "Hugs"
Sorry to hear about your Knuckle and your lady Chrissy!
Your card is gorgeous!

Ouch!! That hurt!! So sorry your lady didn't get back hopefully tomorrow then!!
Your card is gorgeous Chrissy I think all the colours go beautifully, purple and yellow are such an Easter/Lent colour combo so its perfect. You have coloured her brilliantly as always and I love the hair bow thingy - how inventive are you??!! Happy April Fool's Day xx
I love the colors on this and the image is so sweet. I would had never known the bows were plastic and from hair clips. I am always looking at things to use on cards and scrap pages. I hope your knuckle heals soon. I have done the same thing before grating cabbage for coleslaw. Ouch!! I will be back later to comment more.. it's almost 3:30 AM and I have got to get in bed. My husband will be up is a few hours. I have got to fall asleep before he wakes up or I'll never go to sleep.
Hugs:)
