Nearly Fathers Day

Hello Everyone...

Look who I found lurking in my ever so untidy filing system...

...............................................................IT'S BARRY!!..........................

                                      BARRY FISHING from STAMPFAIRY

I knew he was here somewhere, but time went on and I forgot him...poor BARRY!

Fathers Day is coming up on the 5th September here in New Zealand, and I remembered this card this morning...well, I remembered I had made him for the challenge at Ready Teddy Go  and then Fathers Day triggered off another memory, so went fishing for him..lol [get it..fishing for him]...never mind!

Here's the close up of this cute little Bear...all coloured with Faber Castell pencils...
Seed beads for the sea, and glossy accents too...and a little glass fish, whose is nearly as big as Barry..

And...there's the side view...all done inside and chipboard letters spelling'DAD' as it will go to my Dad on the 5th...

No neat cutting here, as I ripped my papers as they were scraps, and not square.

So there we are...a lost Bear retrieved and blogged...

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend...my fence is finished today, and a newish gate [old frame, some old trellis..but servicable for now]...the dog is in...the kids are out..but the little blighters have tagged it already...you wait till they come home...grrr...they will know why I'm storming down there ...

Keep smiling...will see you all Monday...

Luv CHRISSYxx

So cute! I really like those beads in the water... creative and so effective! And that little glass fish is very cool... do you ever wonder why some little doo-dad just has to be bought and you don't know why but all of a sudden, one day, you have the perfect place for it. That's the fish!

Sorry...there's an error in your posting Chrissy. Have checked the definition of 'CUTE' and there's no mention of Barry. He comes under Villain, Cad & Scoundrel...lol!
