Hello Everyone...another Wednesday as rolled around, and the weeks are rolling so fast, it is hard to keep up at the moment...our summer is fast approaching and the weeds in the garden are piling up already.. just begging to be plucked out, but there is no time at the mo, they will just have to wait...
Today we start a new challenge at FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAYS and nice and easy...
" BIRTHDAY"...just add a butterfly or Fairy...
My beautiful Fairy was a freebie download off the net, coloured with Pencils and copics..and little black beads in the flower centres..
Her wings were glittered up and the second set popped up on dots...
The tiny pearls I coloured with copics to get the coloured I wanted...and all the flowers from WOC...except the yellow ones, I painted them to get the yellow, they were out out my stash.
And the side view...the gorgeous papers had no name, but used them on the inside too..and the fabulous lace, from my trip to Australia ,from the markets.
The "Happy Birthday" sentiment from "Polka Dot Doodles" a freebie stamp out of magazine..
So there we have it....Thanks to all who joined us last week, keep those Fairies and Butterflies coming...

A little bit of interesting news..the coloured key worked with 'My Lady'...and she has finally written a cheque, to pay for her groceries, and to have some cash in her purse...yay!!..maybe we can talk on a new subject today...fingers crossed..lol..

We're now heading into autumn, the mornings are cooler and the evenings shorter, but I love this time of year, so mellow. Hope your summer is better than the one we had! Wow Chrissy.. this is fabulous and holy smokes, you've got a lot of detail in this card. I like the dimension you've give the wings. Your flowers are matched so well and placed so they almost look like part of the paper. It's such a sweet image and I like that little green leaf dress!

Lovely card, Chrissy! Lovely papers and gorgeous lace. I travel quite a bit, and if there are no hobby shops around, there's always a way to get your hands on some lace, ribbon and doilies... Just HAVE to buy some hobby related stuff while away from home, always having the itch to craft :) Love how you've made a second pair of wings to create the 3D effect.

Hi Chrissy. I love your card. Your coloring is just beautiful and I love, love how your pearls turned out and the wonderful lace that your used with it. Very very pretty my friend. I hope that you and Harry are doing well and that you are getting some of that wonderful Spring weather. We are getting cooler in the mornings(yay!) but still hitting the upper levels on 80 to 90 degrees each day. I know before long I will be wearing my sweater everyday all day though. lol.. Phew....I made it! I told you I would. :D I'm trippin' all over everything to get here, but I finally got some time to visit. Chrissy how in the world do you pile on all this gorgeous stuff and not have it look like a hobby shop blew up? I can't do it! I've tried, I don't have the eye for combining stuff like this. I just looking at your "short movies." The term I've phrased for your cards, because there is such a story happening with the way you color and animate the scenery.
