Hello Everyone.....
Brrr...so much for lovely spring weather, we have another polar blast coming through...bit chilly!!.
But made a card last night that cheered me up, found this awesome Scarecrow image, a freebie for Saturday and Sunday only from Rick.St.Dennis and he called it "simple Scarecrow"..fabulous drawing.
There he is, isn't he wonderful...
Coloured with pencils and then inked all around him with sponges in black, grey and blue inks.
A bit closer of image.....the netting over the whole card is a hair net...and the cobwebs, barely noticable, is hot glue cobwebs, which I normally do by mistake, but this time it was intentional.
The sentiment was stickers on a ripped piece of kraft scrap and made into a banner...
And a side view.....quite a big card...A4..lots of die cut leaves all inked and screwed up, then opened again, gave them all a crumpled look....pumpkins, inked and cut out....and some spiders.
The papers are Magnolia 'Turning Leaves collection - Vintage Corn"...

Okay, I'm done.. and I have eaten too much chocolate, now have indigestion..so off the drink a gallon of water, and play it from there..

Can completely see why this cheered you up - it's an absolutely brilliant card! Delicious colouring on your main image - that purple is so perfect to set off the orange. And your collection of pumpkins and fallen leaves is fab... really wonderful work, Chrissy!

Very cool piece Chrissy! I can clearly see the hot glue cobwebs and that is brilliant! Great colouring and I like all the extra touches like the tattered sentiment, the dark blue image in front of the corn cob paper, the spider, those fab leaves... great job!

Holy-weeny this is too cool! My kids would go and on about this ear until your ears fell off and then they'd still harp you..it's fantastic!!! :D
