Such fabulous images and the team were given one to play with, and Oh! I had fun colouring this guy up...
Meet Peg-leg-Pete .....
He is just great....coloured with pencils and copics, and even a 5 o'clock shadow..
I actually added the rope after the card was done and posted on MIM blog, so it is a bit different from there....but my G/son [Tyla] brought me the rope amd announced that it would be good on a card....now as this is his Birthday card I just had to add it for him....
He is 8 yrs old today....GuyFawkes day.
The open card....papers are Authentique - comfort and famiiar...
I added a lock charm to his treasure chest and a key...
Great fun to make....
For my POTW I chose #210 Roxx ....as she made fabulous Christmas tags and reminded me to get a move on and make mine...
Fabulous aren't they, I love the colours...simple, and eyecatching design..thanks Roxx.
So there we are... all ready to get started for another week with MIM...
I'm off to work shortly....and a brand new discussion over rubbish bags will be on top of the list with 'My Lady' thism orning..lol..I will win .as I remember.

Well Happy happy Birthday to your grandson!! He certainly has a keen eye for masculine embellishments. Pete looks amazing perched on his treasure chest, complete with a lock even. It's a fantastic card and colored so perfectly! Hope the bag discussion went well. :)

Hello my friend.
I am sure that you thought I forgot all about you. I haven't and in fact I have been missing talking to you. I am still going to send you and Harry those beans just as soon as I can get to the post office with some money. lol.. I had to purchase a new 'used' car this last week so needless to say I am on a strick budget for a little while until I can incorperate the insurance payments back into our monthly bills. I do however really love my new car.(First one that has been all mine in about five years) Jerry has always gotten the newer one first. I don't know why, but this time it came down to a matter of safty issue for me and the M&M's going to school and work each day. It's still an older car but in much better than the white hulk that I have been driving. That one I bought for Jerry about 10 years ago and have hated it from the get go. lol... It's all his now, but as he doesn't work outside of the home or drive around much it's not a big deal. Anyway, I got carried away there. I hope that you and your family are all doing well. Is it starting to get warm and beautiful there? We have been rainy over here in little Moses Lake, Wa now for about 5 days and I am so tired of the neighbors leaves on my new car. Yes, I pick them all off each day when I get to work in the dark. Gggrrrrr... Not sure that I believe it is already November, but what can a girl do but go with the flow?
I love, love your card and I am sure that your grandson is just over the top about it as it is truly a guy kind of card and I can't see why it wouldn't have been the hit of the party. Well I had better get my tushy to bed. 5am will be here before I want it to be. Take care and give Harry a hug from me.
