Hello Everyone...
Update on the finger...it grew back...well the chopped off bit has healed and looks so much better,and finally have the dressing removed...just have to wear a finger condom[for a better word] to keep it clean while working...but all in,it is fine...and only took three weeks..
Onto a card for today.....STAMPFAIRY is the sponsor over at C.R.A.F.T challenge and I'm joining in as a guest in support of their challenge this week which is CHRISTMAS.....
And who better to kick things off with those pesky Christmas tree lights than BARRY.
BARRY COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS
There he is all tangled and I bet half of them dont go...
All coloured up with Faber Castell pencils and his star lights sparkled up with yellow glitter...and glossy accents on his nose.
Added some punched stars and glued them onto string and twirled them around...and popped a gold star in each one...except the one I missed...how did that happen?
Papers are 'MME glittered stack' and used some white snow glitter around the edges...
Cut Barry out using Spellbinders 'Topnote' dies..and used one of my favourite sentiments stamps....but news ones will surface soon as I bought a neat new set of Christmas sentiment stamps...when I was supposed to be getting some lunch..

The twine with stars is such a fun detail - looks just like the one Barry is struggling with on the image! Nice glittery edges too!

Hello my friend. I am so sorry that I haven't been around to chat with you a lot lately. I am super glad to hear that your finger is getting better. We sell finger cots(condoms) at work and I have used them once. They work very well, but you should see the looks I get when I explain how to use them. lol... Oh well, it's true right? Anyway my sweet friend I just love your little guy here. He is so so sweet and even though I am sure it is going to take him quite a bit of time to get those up it looks like he is having a great time all the same. I think you are so talented as I just love the little star border that you made to go along with him. I didn't even notice that your were missing a gold star. I had to look and look and look before I figured it might be the one that is out of the frame. lol. Silly girl. We sure nit pic at our own stuff don't we. So glad to hear your finger is healing. That was a bad ouchy. I have to say, when I saw this card it my me giggle. It is so sweet. That little fella is cute as can be and I really like the way you used the stars and twine/jute. Now...if you will just send him right along to me...all will be perfect. :)
