SWEET SIXTEEN..

Hello Everyone..

I was cooking sausages tonight for tea..not something I eat very often at all..and all the little knobs squirted out and went brown and crunchy and I suddenly thought of husband and the tears started...isn't that strange..he loved the knobs on the sausages and obviously the memory came..just been his 8th Anniversary.

All good now..and onto my project for today...which is not a DT for a change, but one for me and I must admit I'm very pleased with it..

This gorgeous image is called "Bird Hair" ..from Julia Spiri  and she is just beautiful...

I loved colouring her in with my Reno Art markers and Faber Castell pencils for shading....

Me new favourite colour is the turquoise...

The bird border cut out from WOC...so pretty....

Flowers from WOC.. and the stamens from my client [ she gave me literally thousands of these]

A side view showing the beautiful new die from my Aussie friend [thank you]...

Another side view with the tulle tucked in behind...

So there we go..had a wonderful time colouring this little lass up..hope you like it and thanks ever so much for stopping by...

This is really gorgeous Chrissy and I have to agree the colour is so pretty...my summer wardrobe is based on this shade!! Oh, I feel for you ((xx)) isn't it incredible that such a little thing can trigger such memories of a loved one. Christmas does it for me as my Dad WAS Christmas and mowing the lawn always brings a tear as my darling Mog isn't following me up and down...happy memories xx

I'm sorry Chrissy but my mind boggled when you said "and all the little knobs squirted out and went brown and crunchy and I suddenly thought of husband"I wondered what on earth you were going to say lol-but as you say strange how things trigger memories-I have just been in tears over a card at at Annies and memories of my Mam she has been dead for almost nine years and these memories suddenly strike out of the blue --love the beautiful card by the way
