Hello Everyone...
First day back to work today after 2 weeks and it was a looooong day..but a good one...My Ladies were so happy to have me back and there were cuddles and threats never to go away again..lol...just won't tell them about October then..
Onto business now....and new challenge starting up at Where the heART is and the theme is....
"One Layer"...eek..I was on my second when the penny dropped...

I really love this image...and coloured mostly with Faber Castell pencils...little bit with markers on his wing tips and the flowers and a touch of white gel pen....
A close up of the colouring and not much else to show...being one layer and all...
Put a 3rd photo in just because...at least it will inexpensive to post!

such a cute image - and fab colouring! I've been browsing back through some of your creations I've missed and there are some gorgeous ones! Love the sweet sixteen one 'bird hair'. I've been looking at faber castell pencils and I'm sorely tempted - how do you find them to use?

When making CAS or one layer my posts are kept short too, as you say, not much to say. But that doesn't mean the card looks any less beautiful than an embellished one. It's definitely more admirable somehow because they are harder to make, or at least that's how I feel...
One layer - and fabulous! Love your coloring on the cute little bird and the shading around him is perfect. Great card.
