WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A COLD WINTER WET AND MISERABLE DAY..

Hello Everyone....

By crikey it is cold today and very wet...only been out in it 9 times for work this morning then out again tonight...but in between I'm all snug and warm so decided to finally have another go at "Smooshing paint"..

This was the first one...

Love these inexpensive shimmer paints..used a brush and water here and it was okay..nothing to write home about but it looks nice..

This one I dropped water and paint onto my craft mat and placed water colour paper onto it, picking up the paint and smooshing it around a bit..and enjoyed this better...

Purples and blues ..like this colour combo..

Made 4 all up and using the last one [ the red one] for a DT project, so better nip off and get started..

Hope your Sunday afternoon is a bit warmer than mine or Saturday evening is...

See you soon..and  thanks for stopping by..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Gorgeous papers Chrissy! The blues and purples are my favorite! Had some rain here today...unusual for July in N. Texas. Our temp now is 87, but feels like 94...steamy (7:50 pm)! Stay warm!

It looks like we've got the same weather. But here it's supposed to be summer. We've had a few nice days too though, so should perhaps not complain. The backgrounds look awesome, great to have all ready and done for a future project.

Hi Chrissy, Not something that I have tried yet but your samples are interesting and would make either a great background or punched flowers/butterflies .Thanks for sharing .We are freezing down under too .

Your back yard looks lovely Chrissy, even in the rain! Glad you're getting the chance to play as you sound super busy as usual. I am loving your background makes. Been so long since I have actually be able to play with inks and stuff I'm not sure I'd remember what to do lol.

You have such a gorgeous back yard, so many beautiful plants and I love your bird bath! It has been quite cold and wet here the last few days as well. We had a 30 degree drop in temperature between Tuesday and Wednesday, talk about a shock to the system! Your home made backgrounds are brilliant! Lots of wonderful designs all ready to go for your next few projects! Stay dry! hugs :)
