Hello Everyone..
My first morning on my PC as a retired person...I slept in today until 6.20am..awesome, a whole hour of extra sleep, and I LOVE my sleep..we put our clocks back weekend after this one on the 4th, so that will take a bit of getting used to, but I do enjoy Winter, so that's alright.[ even more this year as I do not have to go out in it if I don't want too..yay.]
So onto a project..
I white embossed some flower stamps and played with Nuvo Shimmer Powders..
The shine or sheen is very pretty and fun to watch the colours burst in the water..
Added some Gems an a die cut sentiment..
Then I moved up the colours to purples...
And a LOT more water to make these powders move..
Slightly different angle and more true to the colours...
These powders are pretty clever with blues and deep pinks bleeding out to make purple and you can see all the pigments coming alive as the water plays with them..
You really need the water though..this one I added sequins..
So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by and all the good wishes on my countdown to this wonderful time of my life, I'm so ready for this..
And New Zealand has gone into lock down for 4 weeks..the streets are empty, we will beat this..so please stay safe everyone, and as my Mum used to say, If you have an egg in the house, you have a meal in the house, so I bought a whole tray and should be growing feathers in 4 weeks..
Luv CHRISSYxx
My lovely card from Carol thank you so much..

Welcome to the world of 'retired and lovin' it! Enjoy having time of your own to relax and do the things you enjoy, you've earned it!
Stay safe and well.
xx

Stunning cards and awesome colours..Keep on the happy road and keep smiling...xx
Congrats! Perfect timing! Now you start off with some awesome floral projects. Those are just stunning Chrissy. I think we will be on lock down too. Will have to see how that works out with work since I work in health care I think that I will allowed to go out for that. Stay safe. I couldn't find eggs, canned tomatoes or many other items tonight when I ran out. That's the problem with working....everyone during the day gets all the products that are put out.
Congratulations Chrissy on your retirement and 6.30am...you devil you, such a rebel (lol). We are day 1 of Lockdown today, it's 8am and it doesn't sound particularly quiet out, just as many cars as normal. Stay safe and well my friend, keep making beautiful art xxx
Congrats Chrissy, enjoy and have fun.

De bien jolies créations, bravo !
Le confinement est un passage obligé vers la guérison...
Mais ça fait bizarre !
On a l'impression d'être dauns une ville fantôùe, coupé du monde.
Bon courage.
Bises de France.
Very nice creations, well done!
Confinement is a necessary step towards healing ...
But it's weird!
One has the impression of being in a ghost town, cut off from the world.
Good luck.
Kisses from France.
Congratulations on your newly-retired status! I'm impressed that 6.20 is a lie-in - to me that's an early start! (But then us theatre types have never been very good at early mornings!) Hope you'll continue to find lots of ways in which life just gets better and better, despite the lockdown. We're locked down too, but having already been (gently) stocking up in preparation for Brexit, it should be okay. And the isolation thing is fine by me - I'm a hermit by nature, and as long as my craft supplies don't run out (yeah, right!)...
You're certainly on a creative roll already. I adore those delicate white embossed line images amidst all the vibrant colour. Amazing cards. I particularly love the second one with the subtle blending of the purples down to the greens.
Stay safe, and enjoy your lie-ins!

Brilliant cards, Chrissy. I've never tried the Nuvo, but when I start playing with Ken Oliver's Color Burst, I have a very hard time doing anything else =) Sounds like you are off to a great start. Take good care of yourself!
Sleeping to 0620, you sure are having a party, lol:) Beautiful combination of colorful backgrounds and classic flowers.
