Hello everyone..
I missed a day yesterday, I found myself on Freeview TVNZ on Demand watching, "The Secrets She Keeps ".. gosh it was good..a bit reough in places but good story.
So today I'm sharing a card for a challenge, I actually made one for a challenge not finding a challenge after the fact..
This card is for Hashtag challlenge at Inkart Designs Animals..and yes insects are okay.
The stamp I used is a..

Live in the Moment
My beautiful Dragonfly, and the sun just picked up his glossy sparkly wings..
I decorated his wings a bit with white and gold Gel pen, coloured them purple first then added glossy accents...
I also made a brick wall with modelling paste and inks and crackle stuff, but it didn't work too well here, well, it didn't work at all, but my next project it did, I'll share that tomorrow..
I cut the wall in half and popped each half onto foam tape and added die cut ivy from Coture Creations and Tonic Studios..
The sentiment comes with the stamps and the sun went behind a cloud so this photo is a bit dark.
So there go..
Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you tomorrow..I've been retired now for a month, can you believe that..and have not done anything except walk up to my craftroom everyday and a small wander around to check elderly nieghbours and still the time went so fast..
See you..

I love the brick wall Chrissy, think it looks like bricks..haha..the dragonfly is so pretty, gorgeous card, can I ask what white gel pen do you use, I have so many but they are either to thick or dry up so fast, any advice will begratefully recieved.
So beautiful Chrissy! Your stunning dragonfly sunning himself on that amazing brick wall (what's wrong with it???)- a fabulous card.
I am sure that something happens to the length of the days once you retire Chrissy- they definitely seem a lot shorter to me and I've been retired for 7 years now!xx
WOW, that is amazing and lots of work. Glad that you took some time for yourself.

I'm really enjoying your broken wall design - it's such a dynamic background effect. Love the book text peeking through here and all that lovely ivy twining its way around the place. A beautiful dragonfly just poised for take off to take centre stage... what more could anyone want?
