SOME FOR THE BOYS..

Hello everyone..

Phew, going to be another stinker with heat today even though I'm typing at 8am in the morning I can feel it..and went to start my car this morning as I was going to totter off to the shops to get some stuff and the battery is as flat as a pancake, finally got the courage to venture out and now I cannot go..

Never mind, I have been very busy in the last few weeks and even made some cards for the boys/men in my life, I can share here as they never look..

Pulled out my Oxides and had a play with sky and oceans...

Lots of die cutting too..all the colouring done with inks and sponge daubers, so quick and easy..

All set up ready to go, I find it so much easier to set up so I don't have to start searching for things..

Water reacting on the oxides give a nice foamy look to the water..

And here we have our nautical scene..

Stanley made an appearance..sitting by the ink pot and quill..

A nice thick card, heavy, lots of layers, and loved every minute making this one..

So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by will be back tomorrow and the next day and probably the one after that with nautical cards, my go to for males.

See you then..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Chrissy its fabulous, I LOVE this so much, great work with the inks, and the elements added are perfection, this is one great card.
I had to laugh about you in the garden Chrissy, when I say I am in the garden, these days its very much a 'potter' about, long gone are the digging and moving trees etc, sadly, but I get the 3days to get over it..haha...stay safe.xx

Fantastic masculine card Chrissy, all the elements combine so beautifully to create this wonderful sea scene. Good to see our old friend Stanley make an appearance too!.

I love your Oxide spume and spray on the water, and what a glorious textural collage of elements to bring together your seashore scene. The netting is great, and I love the text on the wheel base, and those driftwood breakwater planks with the seagull perched on top. It's a fabulous card.

Hope you'll be able to get someone to come and jump start the car at some point, though it sounds as though staying indoors out of the heat is a better option for now!

Lots of flat batteries over here too Chrissy. With not going out a lot it's a dread when you get a groan from the car lol. Hope you got re-charged!! I am loving this gorgeous creation today. You know how much I love your cards and this one took me straight to the beach!

The sea turned out looking so realistic! I love the scroll and the seagulls fit right in with this scene of the sea. A card with a wow factor. A masculine card certainly doesn’t have to be plain...
