FROM SEA TO SHORE..

Hello Everyone..

Finally made it back,  been busy last couple of days doing this and that, but I think I'm all caught up now, so can share another project I did..another before and after..

Quite a difference..

There was nothing really wrong with this canvas I just needed something to do and was not using it, so I decided to change it..

So I painted it white..

Until it was all white....

Then I missed a step and actually painted it all black...forgot to take a photo..

Then added cheese cloth..

Found my embellishments and buttons...

Flowers and straws and anything else laying around...old curtain rings and washers [my tap will start dripping now and I will need a washer..]

And out came the black paint again and this time 2 coats...then sat around waiting for paint to dry..

Then finally started with the ink sprays..

Added some shine with Nuvo Mousse.....

A close up of the butterfly...I made the arrow out of cardboard for his body.

And there it is, all done, quite a dark piece but when the sun hits it..boom..there's a lot of colour and shine..

So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you in a couple of days, I'm babysitting my youngest Grandaughter tomorrow, so that should be fun..

  11. You are truly amazing in how you "re-think" your art designs and go in a totally different direction with it! I just LOVE it so much and how you were able to transform this into a cool mixed media project! I hope to be doing some of this very soon myself! Thanks for the inspiration!
