Hello everyone..
This is a fun project I made when in lock down using a cut up cardboard box..
This was the cover as I planned to make a long, or very tall book..
All gessoed up and ready to go...
I had loads of these chipboard letters from scrapbook days and decided to use them up..I didn't even make a dent..
Then sprayed on my colours...
And stippled on Nuvo gold embellishment mousse which you cannot see here with a shaving brush..
Did not enjoy those colours so darkened everything up with darker sprays..
And we got a reaction,,oxides and kaiser sprays do not like each other...
I just kept adding more and more colours..trying to dry in between layers..
Added the insert which was 50 sheets of computer paper folded length wise and individually glued in..
This took forever to dry and still the oxides come off a bit..I have added glaze but it still reacts..
But I love the colours and it looks nice..
So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by..
Not sure what I will get up to tomorrow, maybe I will just surprise myself..
And here is a picture of the heart shaped canvases I purchased..
They were from K Mart
Pretty good price for two..
See you tomorrow..
Luv CHRISSYxx
