BERRIES AND LEAVES..

 

Hello everyone,

I think these cards are nearly the end of my Christmas stuff....just a heads up this is a picture heavy post, more than normal..

So all these started with me finding this gorgeous paper of the Berries and leaves and wanted to make a lot more leaves, so die cut and water coloured my heart out..and was also so thrilled how well they matched..

First off...find the right leaf shape and start die cutting....one leaf at a time.

From this set from Tonic Studio..

Then I mixed the paint to achieve the right colour and..... fluked it..

Whitened the edges to match using matt medium and clear crunchy glitter..

Glued them in a circle around the image and added berries..

Added a gold sentiment..and white splatters..

So chuffed and these berries are sort of encrusted with a form of glitter..

Needed some more leaves and berries..

An arty view..I'm getting quite good and these arty views, I've only fallen over twice while balancing in an unlady like squat !!..

The next card I used a red background papers and lots more leaves..

These berries were a shiny berry and added a few more die cut leaves with red berries dotted on them..

Imagine this going through the franking machine at the post office..lol..

Oop's has a bow in it..

I remember this day of making these cards, so excited that my leaves matched so well..
