SAND OR SEA..DT

 Hello everyone,

I'm in my room today playing with water colour, paints, perfect pearls, oxide inks, water paints [kids set]..and anything else I can add water to..just having fun..

But for now, lets check out our new challenge at LITTLE RED WAGON and this week it is our lovely..

BRENDA who is our hostess and her theme is.. SAND OR SEA - OCEAN OR BEACH THEME

Oh, right up my street and I did go a bit under the sea, but there is sand!!..real sand.

I made this Seahorse months ago, it didn't work properly as I only had clay and it was so difficult getting the clay in all the little bits, especially the tail...so fixed that with a wooden cog!..

I made starfish too, they were easier and the fish, I just didn't use the fish for this project, they will be coming later..

So for my background I used kids water paint set and a very long tag and just started layering up the paint..

Ooo..this is when it started looking quite good and I got excited...

Then it did this too....

And this is where it went and I stopped...

Onto the real fun stuff, onion bag netting, giant glass bubbles, sand and shells...

Hot glued them down, gosh, I love those onion bags and have collected four more just lately, no ones onion bags are safe when I'm around..

A close up of the ocean bottom..

An artsy shot..

My seahorse re painted and sprayed and little nut added in the center of the cog..

Dimension shot....plenty of that and really heavy..

A real close up of the tiny white micro beads..

And also the gold ones on the seahorse..

And my final project which I love and going to put it on my wall somewhere..

So there we go, get those seaside, ocean, beach, projects made and pop on over and enter the challenge  HERE

Before I go here is a joke for you...

Why does the Ocean roar??

Because the crabs keep biting his bottom....

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Oh dear, it takes all sorts to make the world go round doesn't it..

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx
