HAVING A CHANGE AROUND..

 Hello everyone,

I have been having a change around in my craftroom as we have little earthquakes all the time, nearly everyday, we don't always feel them but they happen none the less, and my stuff was up high and pretty dangerous really..

My friend Janette told me she purchased some drawers, I said naa..but really I knew it should be Yes..so I bought some..

These were the first set I bought, I had to put them together and they replace a plastic set, it containers my storage stuff..lol..all of them do..I wont run out for sure..

These were my latest purchase and were under my window, which was alright but that meant my cubes were behind me where I'm standing crafting and full of heavy dies..lots of them, so the weight was heavy...and if they came down may not hurt too much depending where they landed, probably my feet would get crushed, and I didn't want to take the risk..

I moved my cubes back here and LOVE them here and I don't know why I moved them in the first place..my dies are now here and stored low..no danger..they are in clear refrigerator bins 7x7" ..perfect size and glad I bought so many as now they don't exist anymore..

This was under my desk housing A5 papers..foam sheets..A4 pretty papers and cardstock..full to the brim and awkward..on the left were containers with lace, ribbon and gems..on the right housed white card stock, acetate and vellum and all that stuff..

Out they went and these drawers in..perfect..

Papers etc settled into their new home and they thought they were happy, but Mama wasn't, what a waste of space and still some dangerous and potential hazards on other side of room...

So replaced all of that stuff for all my inks, sprays, Nuvo drops dylusions, mousses and gels all of those fitted perfectly and Mama was happy..

Then remembered I had these box folder storage things in the garage so out I went, dusted them off and now store all my A4 papers and foam and cardstock and glitter card all that stuff in here..

So now up high there is nothing that can really hurt or do damage, I still have high stuff on high bookshelves but they can only fall as far as the other cabinets are..and I'm not standing in  front of them..like dominoes I suppose you could say..they will fall, land on another cabinet and stay there..
[ I hope..]

So there we go, just an update of things..
Hope you are all well and happy and I will see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

You are one super organized lady Chrissy, omg, how wonderful is all your stash in that fabulous space, as you know I have the back porch for my crafting, its a big porch but no way a room haha, but the drawers did make such a difference.
You take care with the earthquake bit, I have only ever felt one and it scared the daylights out of me.xxx

That looks like a fabulous crafty space Chrissy. It's about time I had a good old sort out. My work room is tiny since Son #2 and his partner separated and they sold their apartment and he came back home!! xx

Wow Chrissy you have an amazing craft space, all those gorgeous drawers holding so much wonderful crafty stuff, it looks so organised, when I moved in with Dave he bought me a craft storage station that had all the boxes in then he set about trying to organise me....LOL he sort of did but if you looked at my desk and space now you would not believe it, I seem to be spreading out into the lounge, lol, he made me put labels on all the boxes but I still can't find half my stuff which is why I am always showing something new on my blog, LOL. Enjoy your new craft space.
